Injection Molding Process of Gear-Transmission

 

Heating and melting

The plastic material is fed into a barrel, where it is heated to a molten state. The temperature must be carefully controlled to ensure the material flows easily and fills the mold.

Injection of material

Once the material is molten, the injection machine uses a screw or plunger to inject the molten plastic into the mold cavity at high pressure. This ensures that the material fills every part of the mold, including the intricate teeth and other details.

Cooling
