Main precautions and processes involved in plastic injection molding:
1、 The molding cycle of injection molded products, which also includes injection time and product cooling time, has a profound impact on product quality through effective control of these times.
Before injection molding production, we should clarify the product molding cycle through sample patterns and other methods.
2、 The temperature of the injection mold, the crystallization temperature and speed of different plastic particles, and the appearance, deformation, size, and mold of the product have different requirements;
This makes the temperature control of injection mold different when using different plastics and product requirements.
3、 Molten plastic injection pressure. Plastic faces great resistance during the process of filling the mold cavity, which directly determines the size, weight, density, appearance, etc. of the product!
If any of these factors are affected, the product becomes a scrap product. This requires injection engineers to reasonably define injection pressure control based on the comprehensive factors of the product.
4、 Injection speed, the speed of injection has an important impact on the appearance quality of products.
The injection speed is generally achieved by adjusting the amount of oil supplied to the injection cylinder per unit time.
5、 Barrel temperature and melt temperature. The melt temperature can be measured at the nozzle or using the air jet method. The melt temperature plays a major role in the flow performance of the melt;
Plastic does not have a specific melting point, which is a temperature range in a molten state.
The control of both temperatures also plays a crucial role in the quality of the product.
